Technology and the Human Condition was
a course that tied concepts from subjects like philosophy and tied
them into materials from my other courses, including my Special
Topics/Social Media course, Special Topics/Introduction of the Self.
This course taught us the affects of technology on society as a
whole, as well as on humans as individuals. We discussed the changes
caused by technology, but perhaps even more importantly, the strange
lack of change of our natural tendencies as humans. So much as
changed with regards to our technology, but it really has only
changed us in ways that we have allowed it to, or in ways that human
nature allows. We create, and in turn our creations shape us.
